I haven't posted on here in ages! I have been so caught up in life and busy with the kids that I haven't had much time to just sit and create much of anything in the past few months. I hope to have some more free time once they start back to school though. :)

I haven't updated this site in ages I know, but I have been so busy! Hubby is in Iraq yet again, the kids have NJROTC stuff and softball, and I am literally EXHAUSTED from running them all around all the time! :| Hopefully once school is out I will have a little more free time, but I doubt it LOL I'm sure I will be running myself ragged trying to keep the kids occupied and happy during Summer break. Oh the joys of motherhood :P Hehehe I do have a few templates that I will be posting soon though. :)

New Layout

So I am loving this new layout and thinking I will keep it for awhile :) Working on a new kit....there are only so many hours in a day and way too much to do. Hopefully I will be done with it sooner rather than later.

Winter

The forest floor is blanketed in white

as flurried snowflakes gently drift down

falling silently, cold in the night.

Crisp air rushes through

rustling stripped branches of oaks.

Crackling, they speak secrets true.

"It is here", says the trees.

"Winter", they whisper...

"Our branches no longer bear their leaves."

Upon every limb, icicles dance and shimmer

illuminated by moon's light,

on the ground, the fallen snow does glimmer.

Creating soft white wonderlands,

Old man winter thrives

This, the season of frostiness, is in his knowing hands.

Meanwhile beneath the snow now deep,

Mother earth rests in peaceful slumber.

Until spring she'll stay this way, in old man winter's keep.

In just three days Thanksgiving will be here and be gone, and Christmas is right behind it. Store windows are now calling my name, begging me to come inside and Christmas shop! LOL I felt a bit inspired by Bass Pro Shop's Christmas Wonderland that I created a new kit called Santa and His Reindeer, which I will be uploading as soon as I zip the file up.

I just couldn't leave it pink! LOL I like this much better. It is much more "me" I think, although it is not dark and gloomyish or black and red. Hahaha But, it is nature-y and that is very much like me. It's all good. I think I am happy with it now and can leave it alone for awhile. :)

I kind of like the new setup here. I think it looks "Pretty" LOL Yeah I know....it's pink! It's weird for me to be using pink, but I really do like this layout. I'm sure I will change it sooner rather than later, but for now---it is what it is and it is lovely at the moment. :)
